I have worked 40 yrs in the medical field As a CNA with the last 17 Years as a CMA ( certified medical assistant) Two different hospitals (General Surgery, pediatrics, the nursery and ob depts). I did work for a Home care Agency, lastly Dreyer Clinic. I began in internal medicine, rheumatology, infectious disease . The Last 21 years in general surgical dept , started the breast clinic with the breast surgeon where I worked for 7 years. I cared most recently for 3 years for a Alzheimer pt full time in his home where I managed his household, administered medication, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping. I took him to his appts, hair cuts. We went out weekly to some meals and outings to parks and visited his friends. I am currently looking for 5 days 7-8 hours no weekends. Or 3/ 7-8 hr days.
