Went through all the effort of a phone interview and getting a past employment reference, only to be called 2 days before we'd scheduled and agreed for her to start working daily for me to see if we were a good fit, to be told she accepted another job instead. I got bailed on when I really needed a sitter, put me in a tight spot. That's messed up. In all fairness, she did receive a glowing review from her previous family she babysat for.
