About Christiana

Hi there! I have worked with children of all ages (infant-teenager). Most recently I worked as a teacher's assistant for first and second grades, where I primarily conducted reading groups for struggling students. Prior to this I worked at a high school where I was a special education paraprofessional (aide). I have also worked as a reading tutor for elementary-aged students, as well as a reading program director at elementary school. I have worked as a reading assessor for a national research study on Response to Intervention (RTI). And I completed my TESOL certification in Mexico where I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to grade-school students. Since then I have taught ESL and citizenship classes to refugee and immigrant adults. I thoroughly enjoy the learning process and seeing children and adults make connections. My current availability is Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 4:30 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. I am excited to meet you and your family!
