Hi! I am a certified teacher for elementary and special education with master's degrees in both areas. This past year, I was a 2nd-grade teacher, but I have taught kindergarten through 8th grade in both public and private schools. I have great success with 1:1 teaching, especially in helping children learn to read. In math, I move from concrete understanding using manipulatives to more abstract ideas to build a strong foundation of knowledge. Christie is by far one of our favorite babysitters! The kids absolutely love her and my husband and I do as well. Christie was a full time nanny for our 3 kids for two summers in a row.
