About Christina

I'd describe my personality as positive, caring and thoughtful. I love working with kids because they bring me joy and I can sense what they need when others might not be able to. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be of service. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I enjoyed it so much I became a teacher and have been a teacher for over 30 years. In my spare time, I like to read, line dance and work on scrapbooking. One thing you should know about me is I am very child centered and a proponent of gentle parenting. My skills include helping children learn new life skills, finding activities that spark joy and helping children learn new academic skills especially reading. I currently teach from 8-3. I would be available a couple hours each day during the week and more on the weekend.
