About Christina

My name is Christina. Although I graduated from law school and passed the bar exam, my calling is to be a teacher. For this reason, I taught at the high school level and was an adjunct college teacher before raising my family. I also homeschooled my son from pre-K through 8th grade and loved every minute of it. He recently went off to college, and I look forward to being able to help local families who are looking for a tutor for their children. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and goal-oriented. I like tutoring because it is rewarding to help students achieve their academic goals and because I hope to inspire a joy in the process of learning . As Ben Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." I aspire to have students be active participants in their education and to help them be successful learners!
