Hello families! Christina here! I'm a doting Auntie to 3: a niece & two nephews (ages 18, 15 & 13). I raised my godson from infancy; he's 28. I'm experienced, responsible, patient and attentive. Most recently, a nanny M-F for a 1-year-old baby girl & her 3 1/2yo sis. Previously: two families; a 6yo boy & his 2yo bro, a 10mo girl and an 18mo boy. Was an elementary school teacher for 11+ years; I'm used to multi-tasking, familiar with various ages (first aid, CPR). Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Associate's in Art; being crafty is in my wheelhouse! I own my car, a non-smoker. Anything child related: light tidying/laundry, meal prep/snacks, sleep routine. Engage in storytime, puzzles, board games, LEGOS, being outdoors, screen-free (limited). Let me start by saying, Christina is incredible! She was recommended by a friend we have in common, and, being a new mommy, my husband and I were hesitant to leave our little one with someone who wasn't family. But Christina put our concerns at ease right away. She's since cared for our 6 month old daughter three times for several hours each, always checking in, asks questions to make sure we're on the same page regarding care and well-being of our baby. She's an all around gift to our family. I don't know what some of these other parents are talking about in their reviews, but the person they're describing isn't the Christina we've come to know these few months. It isn't okay to vent here when from what I can tell, you either never met her or were around her 'for a minute'. You're bringing your own insecurities to her door. Don't do that. Christina is attentive, patient and full of personality. I truly believe that caring for children is her calling. Did I mention she used to teach littles? She knows how challenging this field can be and she's up for it. Experienced. A gift.
