About Christine

I am very outgoing, responsible, and an excellent communicator. I love working with children. Upon completion of my college degree, I worked in the Social Service field where I taught child development classes to pregnant teens. After my daughter was born, I began pursuing a career in the home childcare field. I have provided child care services for three families with children between the ages of 8 months to 3 years old. These were part time, long term, and usually 7-10 hour days. In general I focused primarily on their physical and emotional needs. While also encouraging individual exploration, play, and learning based their level of development. In another position, I worked for a family with a school age daughter for 3 years. In this instance, I would pick her up from school and would assist with home work, dinner prep, and light housework. Overall, I find this work very meaningful and fun. Some of my interests are: hiking, biking, cooking, playing games, and watching movies.
