I am currently in my 13th year of teaching. My current position is as a Technology Teacher grades K-5 at a local private school. However, the majority of my career includes teaching in the classroom in 1st (ELL), 2nd (ELL), and 3rd grade, in addition to teaching Math grades 6th-8th. I have been providing tutoring and intensive intervention for Reading and Math every year since my first year of teaching and feel passionate about helping students succeed. Even though I am currently considered a Special Area teacher at my school, my principal has cleared up my morning prep times so I can run small reading groups due to my strong background.
