I am looking to begin working with a new family at the start of the new year. My current little sweet pea will be starting preschool at the end of the year. 

I have over 20 years of experience in child care. Most of those years, I was Lead Teacher of the infant room at Leafspring School. I was in charge of the running of the room of 16 infants as a whole, as well as having my own primary care group of 4 to care for. I am open to a nanny share if that is something you're looking for. 

I am CPR/First Aid certified, have a CDA, reliable transportation, am a non-smoker, and have a clean driving record. I have worked with children with disabilities and am comfortable doing so. 

I am looking for a full-time position with guaranteed hours. I charge $28 for one child and $32 total for a nanny share.

Christy is the best thing we could have ever asked for for our sweet baby girl. She has been a wonderful nanny and our baby girl loves her and is excited to see her every day! 

Christie is amazing!  She enabled me to enjoy a family wedding weekend without worrying about my three young kids.  She was particularly great at communication and timeliness.  She was great about responding to texts immediately and keeping me updated.  The first night she took it upon herself to find cheaper parking - we were in a hotel and I'd let her know it was OK to use the hotel parking.   Both nights I offered room service or anything she wanted for dinner - she was very kind and ate with my kids and brought some of her own food from home one night.  She went over the top to coordinate meeting up with another babysitter and my cousins' children in our large hotel.  The kids didn't know each other but she made it happen because it was nice for me to see them together (via her pictures).  My kids raved about her, even my moody 6 year old who is hard to please.  Christie is awesome!!

Excellent care giver. Treated our children like her own. Had good care plans. Stimulated children with arts and crafts. You'll have nothing to worry about.

Christie was the Lead Teacher in both of my children's entry into preschool. Her room was the infant room and not only did she comfort and support me as a new mom, she loved my babies! She would always send me pictures throughout the day and keep me updated on milestones, silly things they were doing and if it looked like they may be getting sick, which comforted me as a working mom. I felt as though I was not missing out on as much with her updates.  I highly recommend Christie she loves kids (and they LOVE her) and is a great comfort to parents. Highly recommend!

Christine was my mentor at the preschool we both worked at. She helped train me with working with infants, and was such an excellent help. Without her I would not have half the knowledge I currently do now with taking care of infants. She was always caring, kind, and dependable as a mentor-and even more kind and caring with the incredible infants we worked with! I am pregnant now with my first child and Christine will be the first person I allow to watch my baby boy. I have worked with many people over the years, but none have had such an positive attitude and caring demeanor, and she was always looking for a way to be a helping hand for both coworkers, and parents of the infants we worked with!

I've known Christine for almost six years. She was a part of my sons infant care. I had the unique opportunity to observe her care for babies, and I was thoroughly impressed. As a new mom at the time, she eased my concerns and communicated with me frequently. She is caring, knowledgeable and professional. I would absolutely recommend her for your childcare needs!

I only have one child and I met Christy 3 months into new motherhood.  I was extremely anxious about someone taking care of my infant baby while I went back to work, not to mention I couldn't even get her to drink from a bottle at the time.  Christy was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and took care of my daughter like she was her own, which was a HUGE relief for me.  I never had any doubt about my daughter while she was with Christy, and I am forever grateful to her for that. SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!

Christy is wonderful with babies and toddlers alike! She treats every child as if they were her own is incredible with multitasking. She was the only person I let watch my babies and she always ensures they are loved and well cared for. She was incredibly respectful with my nursing and what times I wanted bottles for my kiddo. My oldest is now almost six and he still loves visits from Christy.

Christy is the best!  She writes and send weekly lesson plans for our three year old - he is learning so much!  She is great with crafts and responsive to feedback.  Most importantly she loves our son and he adores her.  So sad that my son is going to Pre-K because we love her so much!

Christy is a very loving, warm, knowledgeable, and fun caregiver for our two year old son. He has some chronic health issues, and she has jumped in to learn about his needs and provide him extra supports, even attending PT sessions with us to learn new skills. She has many years of experience as a lead teacher in a daycare setting, which has been wonderful since she applies that knowledge to create dynamic weekly lesson plans to support all aspects of our son's development. I trust Christy completely and will be sad to say goodbye when our son returns to a daycare setting as the pandemic response allows.

Christy is one of a kind!  Christy has cared for 2 of my children.  When I leave my children with her I have confidence they will be safe and cared for. She loves my children and has created a bond. She is very in tune with children's development and their skills.  She has helped set my kids up with a daily schedule that worked best for them and worked through bottle refusals.  My kids learned how to use a spoon and sign language, among others things from Christy.  I can not say enough how much I trust her to care for my kids.
