Hello! I have loved the idea of working with children since the day I started talking. Once I was old enough I began babysitting for friends/family around me. Eventually I began volunteering at a local church's daycare for a little bit just for some experience. Now, I have been working in a local elementary school for the past school year as an assistant teacher who works with grades Pre-K through 2nd grade. I mainly work with children who have special needs but also assist with normal classroom tasks on the daily. I also coach Little Pirate Cheer which deals with kids from kindergarten through 6th grade. Now that summer break is approaching I am looking for a way to continue in childcare! I currently attend Indiana University Southeast to earn my bachelors in secondary education and hope to go further to earn my masters! I am a very upbeat and easy going person!
