tldr: Claire is the penultimate tutor: she is organized, communicative, and deeply invested in her pupil's growth. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Claire was an OUTSTANDING tutor for my teenage daughter. She approached every weekly session with a clear agenda and a thoughtful set of goals, which she always shared and discussed with me in advance to ensure alignment. She also provided detailed notes after each session - so there was never a gap in visibility. Claire's range as a tutor is also remarkable. She supported my daughter not only in math & algebra, but also in subjects such as the Civil War, Reconstruction, social issues, and even Japanese! No matter the topic, Claire created an open, transparent, and nurturing environment that encouraged self-learning and love of learning.
