About Claire

I have years worth of tutoring experience, especially throughout college at the University of Southern California where I tutored students in accounting and would often edit and revise essays after being awarded the best senior paper in my graduating class by our English professor at the time. While at USC and prior to it, I tutored students of various ages in math and a lot of test prep for standardized testing like the ACT and SAT. My strong suits are English and Math, but I have tutored in other areas, as well. I am good at giving structure and executing an action plan while keeping things engaging and stimulating, so students show both growth in their performance and excitement around learning. I've learned rarely a case of a student not being able to understand a topic or area; it simply goes back to how things are being explained to them and getting in the habit of practicing any corrections.
