About Claudia

Hello! I am looking for full time work this summer before I begin graduate school in the fall. I earned a bachelor's from Northwestern in 2023 where I studied Spanish and African American Studies. Then, I spent a year abroad in Spain working as an English/Science teaching assistant for grades preK-6th. This academic year, I am pursuing a post-bacc in Speech Language Pathology at DePaul University in preparation for a master's in the same field. I am also working full time as a bilingual academic tutor in District 65, as well as an after school instructor at the nonprofit Youth Opportunity United (YOU). I absolutely love working with children and families! I have been a summer nanny in Evanston for 5+ years for kids aged 14 mo. - 12 years. The outdoors, swimming, arts and crafts, and music are a few of my favorite things. I'm very organized and schedule-oriented, however I know things don't always go as planned and am able to pivot to daily needs. Looking forward to getting in touch!
