About Claudia

I'd describe my personality as engaged, patient, and fun. Tutoring allows me to help students achieve their full potential. I'm looking to teach Spanish, incorporating student's interests, activities such as art, science and geography for a comprehensive approach. I started tutoring art as a member of the PTSA, teaching to five kindergarten classes and first grade classes. I also got a preschool certification to teach three to 4-year-olds. In my spare time, I like to read, do arts and crafts, cook, and walk. The main thing you should know about me is that I am a mother of an amazing 20-year-old daughter. I have worked in architecture since graduating from the University of Florida in 1992, practicing until I had my daughter. Since, I have Consulted, to be involved in my daughter's school activities. I was born in Colombia and came to the US after high school. I am a US Citizen. My skills include Spanish, Art and can incorporate other topics to make Spanish learning fun.
