My background started working on the Diabetic floor & Coronary Care Unit in the hospital. Then built and opened a Family Practice Office with my past husband where my skills were Xray tech, drawing blood... dispensing medications & what ever was needed to manage the office. It's there that I found great interest in caring for the elderly. I have over the past 31/2 years have been caring for a now 99-year-old wonderful that broke her hip and has been bed ridden one day a week or when ever her daughter needs the help. I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate & warm I like caring for seniors because there is no bigger gift than having the opportunity to help people at the end of their lives. I'm looking for a job that brings comfort, companionship & joy to the people I care for. I started caring for seniors when opened a family practice center with my past husband. I found myself drawn to seniors. Also when caring for my father until passed in my home.

I was a friend/neighbor of Colleen's client. I saw how Colleen interacted with her. She was so caring and respectful to my neighbor that we came to be friends. She gave my neighbor the dignity like that of a longtime friend. She has the heart of a servant and also has a medical background that is valuable in helping to take care of older folks.
