About Colleen

Hi, my name is Colleen! I tutor children in all subjects with a focus on kids that struggle with reading, reading comprehension and spelling. With specialized training and over 2. 5 years of hands-on experience, I have a unique approach that combines patience and creativity to make learning fun and effective. I focus on building foundational skills using interactive and engaging materials that motivate my students to excel, giving them more confidence in themselves and in the classroom. In addition to literacy, I also offer support in mathematics, helping children grasp fundamental concepts and develop their problem-solving abilities. Through positive reinforcement and a nurturing environment, I empower my students to reach their full potential. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy babysitting and nanny care as well as cooking, reading and art. I look forward to hearing from you!
