I have had pets my whole life (mainly cats / dogs) of many breeds, sizes, temperaments and health concerns or requirements. Growing up I had a bird, hermit crab, guinea pig, hamster, fish. When I worked at a public school I helped out with a cute bearded dragon! I like to say I'm an animal whisperer;). I'm confident, cognizant and sensitive to the needs of animals whether it's feeding, walking, playing, potential threats or health hazards. I have often dog and home-sat for pet owners for multiple dogs up to a month at a time. I have cared for pets even when they were sick and needed undivided attention. I understand that when staying in their homes that I am to leave it in a cleanly condition and am comfortable asking questions in order to maintain those conditions the home was left in
