About Courtney

Hello! My name is Courtney - and after nearly six years as a full-time early childhood teacher in both traditional and Montessori preschool settings - I am seeking a new opportunity as a part-time nanny. After earning a degree in Early Childhood Education (a life long dream of mine) - I became infant/toddler and preschool Lead Teacher certified and have been lucky enough to teach, love, and care for the best group of smiling students a teacher could ask for over the past few years. While I have a wide-range of nanny and teacher experience caring for children 8-weeks to 6-years-old - my nurturing and fun approach has always remained the same. I am strong proponent of active care and learning. My favorite childcare activities include reading, sing-along, and of course outdoor playtime and exploration. I also especially love arts and crafts projects and baking! Even though creating a fun and nurturing relationship is important - safety is my top priority (CPR/First Aid certified).
