About Courtney

To Whom It May Concern, I can’t say enough accolades about Courtney A in just one letter. From the start, I knew she was an optimal fit for my 87- year- old mother as they shared similar interests like art, cooking, and teaching. Upon meeting her, she immediately exuded a positive attitude and had many ideas to support my mom’s health and welfare. Courtney worked four days a week caring for my mother, and those were always her favorite days. She prepared and packaged healthy meals (always mindful of my mother’s allergies), took her on nature walks, led art projects (Courtney is an art teacher), accompanied her on outings such as trips to the farmer’s market and clothes shopping, and drove her to doctor appointments. At the end of each day, Courtney sent me and my sisters pictures of all these adventures and my mom was always smiling. My mom didn’t consider Courtney as a worker, but as a close friend. An attribute that any caring family embraces above all. When I asked for a list of friends she wanted me to invite to her birthday party, Courtney was at the top of that list. Although it was on her day off, Courtney came and gave special attention to my mom the entire day. She is an angel and a gift to any family. I can’t thank her enough for alleviating our trepidation about having someone take care of our mother. Courney is kind, trustworthy, caring, punctual, diligent, talented, creative, and one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is more than just a caregiver, she is family.
