About Courtney

Hello! My name is Courtney, I'm a Physician Assistant student working toward becoming a pediatric PA, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for children. My background includes nannying and babysitting children ages 6 months-11 years, volunteering in the NICU, and tutoring. I also earned my bachelor's degree in Family, Youth & Community Sciences from the University of Florida, with a strong focus on child development. I've completed training in Youth Protection, Positive Behavioral Management Skills, and Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences. I was previously certified in CPR/AED and Emergency Medical Responder (currently expired). Families describe me as caring, reliable, enthusiastic, and easy-going. I love being outdoors, especially hiking! A fun fact about me is that I once had a ladybug farm.
