(Out of Town 10/26 - 11/4) My approach to animal care is rooted in science and love. I see animals as family while understanding that their needs are not quite the same as humans. I like to stay updated on research for animal behavior and nutrition. I also understand that each animal is unique and you know your animal better than I do. Please let me know how I can best care for your animal! I have taken care of a lot of different animals. I grew up with rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, chickens, large fish, and lizards. More recently, I was hand feeding and bathing my dying, elder cat when she became too fragile. I had roommates with cats and dogs whom I'd watch while they were out of town or working. Caring for a service dog, I've picked up on how to do the training myself. Now I'm living with a snake with spider wobble and learning about her unique needs. I have not been asked for petsitter insurance or certifications yet, but if you would like me to get any of those, let me know.
