About Cynia

With over seven years of tutoring experience, I help students from kindergarten through college excel in math, reading, writing, executive functioning, and standardized test prep. I hold a Public Policy degree from Claremont McKenna College and have a strong math background, including econometrics. I specialize in adapting lessons to each student's needs and learning style, whether that means building foundational skills, boosting confidence, or tackling advanced coursework. My students include those on the autism spectrum, learners with dyslexia, and students experiencing academic anxiety or burnout. In my sessions, I blend structure with creativity--using clear goals, real-world connections, and personalized strategies to help students reach their full potential. Whether preparing for the SAT, mastering Algebra 2, or strengthening reading comprehension, I meet students where they are and guide them forward step-by-step.
