About Cynthia

Hello! I am a Montessori teacher certified in 6-9-year-olds. I also have experience babysitting and nannying children from birth to age 10, and have taught internationally in Honduras and Spain, teaching kindergarten and middle/high school, respectively. I believe in creative and engaging learning guided by the child's interests and heavily influenced by the environment. I am ideally looking to be a homeschool teacher for a child in first, second or third grade, but I would be willing to teach slightly younger or older children if it was a good fit. My native language is English, and I speak Spanish as well and could include Spanish as a subject. I will tailor the curriculum to your child's level while making sure to cover standards and letting them explore their interests. This could be a good opportunity for a group of 2-5 friends to all homeschool together!
