About Cynthia

I have over 25 years of babysitting experience, caring for children of all ages, including newborns, premature infants, twins and both children and adults with special needs. I am currently a self-contained special education teacher with Houston Independent School District and am in my 9th year of teaching. My passion for children is at the heart of everything I do-both in the classroom and in the homes I serve. I spent seven years working at The Brookwood Community, a private nonprofit residential and day rehabilitation center for adults with intellectual disabilities. This experience gave me a deep understanding of diverse needs, behaviors, and compassionate care. I truly believe children are amazing-they are the reason I teach. Every babysitting and teaching experience helps me grow, making me a stronger, more attentive caregiver and educator.
