Provide reliable, respectful home care for seniors, making it possible for them to maintain as much independence as possible. I am passionate about helping people. Service includes personal care (medication assistance, transfer to bed or wheelchair), companionship, meal preparation, and help around the home (escort to appointments, light housekeeping, assist with laundry, shopping). I do this with patience, while maintaining a sense of humor. Client conditions include various forms of dementia, Parkinson s, and stroke. I enjoy engaging clients, often having them tell me their life stories and lessons learned. Clients have included WWII veterans, retired school teachers, business owners, and community leaders. Many assignments have been long term, with family relationships extending beyond the closure of the case. I attribute this to my approach which is to build a professional, yet caring relationship based on integrity.
