About Daiva

Daiva was truly a Godsend for our family. She cared for our mom every weekday for four months and stepped in when another caregiver unexpectedly left us in a difficult situation. Within ten minutes of arriving at the house and meeting our mom, I knew we had found a gem—and countless times over the following months, our dad said the same. She took so much worry off our shoulders because we knew Mom was in excellent, compassionate hands. Daiva worked nonstop. When she wasn’t providing attentive, loving care to our mom, she was meticulously cleaning the house or playing with the dog. It seemed like she never sat still, yet she did everything with calm and grace—a true gift. Always looking for ways to provide the best care possible, Daiva was deeply committed and remarkably consistent. She never once called in sick during those four months, even showing up during snowstorms. She reassured us that we could call on her anytime if we found ourselves in a bind with other caregivers. Daiva worked tirelessly to keep our mom comfortable in her final months, and we will be forever grateful for her kindness, dedication, and care.
