About Damilola

Hello! My name is Dami and I am a sophomore at Barnard College majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Urban Teaching on the elementary education license track. I have been working with children since my sophomore year of high school, where I was a student-teacher for pre-kindergarten classes until my senior year. Since then, I have tutored at middle schools, and assisted a college student with an intellectual disability succeed in a graphic design course. This summer, I taught social studies to middle schoolers at Breakthrough Greater Boston in collaboration with Americorps. Here, I received two weeks of intense training on education, teaching, and child psychology. I am also CPR certified.
