About Dana

Hi there! I'm Dana, I am upbeat, responsible, and thoughtful. I am a student at LBCC working on my AA-T in child development education and will be majoring my bachelor's in child psychology to eventually my Psy-D. I started working with kids when I was 18, I have worked as an Instructional Aide at a high school and elementary school, working one on one with students with mild to moderate mental disabilities. I have also worked at a summer program being in charge of up to 20 kids ranging from 5 to 12 years old, coming up with a new project or activity everyday. My experience is most extensive with 12 months - 18 years. I have a niece and a nephew both of whom I've spent a lot of time with since they were born so I have experience with babies under 12 months. I've worked with 3 different families until their kids went off to preK. I implement montessori activities, and outside time, I make snacks and lunch, as well as perform daily household chores.
