Dana was an excellent short-term nanny for our infant daughter in December  before a full-time caregiver was available. She was consistently punctual, highly experienced, and very confident handling our infant's needs such as bottle feedings, naps, tummy time, and overall daily care. Her knowledge and experience made us feel very comfortable with her abilities, and she also provided helpful guidance as we began navigating sleep training. Dana was also helpful beyond childcare, assisting with laundry on several occasions. We would absolutely hire Dana again and have already recommended her to other families. Dana has been a great night nanny. Before Dana's help, our baby was co-sleeping with us and waking up every couple hours. We thought she would never be able to transition to the bassinet but Dana helped get her there. Dana helped get her to sleep for longer periods and to be comfortable sleeping without being next to us. Unfortunately, our financial circumstances changed and so we were unable to keep Dana for longer although we wished we could. She has been kind enough to tell us to contact her with any questions even after she has finished with us.

I have known Dana for many years. I have witnessed her work with newborns, and all ages up through 5 years old.  The children adore her as well as their parents. Dana is very receptive to a child’s needs and manages to take care of them extremely well.  She’s very attentive to everyone she works with to ensure their health and safety overall.  When I had my child, I asked her to come over and watch her when I needed to get out for an event or just to run errands. My daughter adored her and still does to this day.

Dana has worked for our family throughout the years. She started out by taking care of our newborns throughout their school age yrs. She now continues to spend time with our family and watch our now grandchildren. She is an excellent caregiver. We would recommend her to any and all families. She is and always will be a part of our family.

Very prompt response and gave my mother excellent care while I had to go out of state. Will gladly use her help again when needed!

Went through interview process with Dana to hire her to watch out son every 2 weeks full time. This interview process included a lengthy phone call, reference check and in-person interview. She recommended us purchase a sleep pod to help with sleep training so we bought one to accommodate her nanny preference. We signed a contract for her to begin working for us on 2/20/25. In the contract there was language that both parties would provide the other with 2 weeks notice if we needed to part ways and that if we gave her less than 2 weeks notice that we would have to pay her for those full 2 weeks. 
On 2/18 at 8pm (less than 48 hours notice) she emails (with no call or text) to inform us that she is going to have to make a tough decision of taking another full time position and would be cancelling our contract. 

Not only did she breach our contract but she left us in the incredibly unfortunate position of having to scramble last minute to find child care, after an extensive interview process with her.

If anyone hires her in the future I would highly consider putting language in your contract terms that encourages both parties to provide adequate notice before cancelling the contract (ie a penalty to either party for failure to provide proper notice). 

Our 1 year old twin boys just started daycare after 9 months of being in our home with Dana. I work from home and I really wanted them with me the first year. Dana not only showered the boys with affection and care every day, but also stayed on top of safety concerns in the house, health (congestion, rashes, etc.), learning, and keeping them well fed! Also, and most importantly, she helped them be solid sleepers! Hallelujah! They are in love with Dana and she’ll always be in their lives.

We hired Dana for sleep training our 9 weeks old son. We were having struggles with our son only takes nap 10 min at the time and didn't see any improvement for about 2 weeks since we started our own ways to sleep train him. She came in one day and figured out what was going on within a few hours!! He slept  twice as long right away. She also showed us a lot of tricks to take care fussiness and teaching me to help him develop self-soothing. I will definitely consult and hire her again as I encounter more challenges comes with growing baby.

Dana took care of my infant for a year and is a wizard with kids. He was 4 months when she started and at our request she slept trained him within a week of starting (was previously waking up every 2 hours at night) which was a life saver as I was going back to work and we were exhausted. She is a very hard worker, caring, dependable and will take care of your child like they are her own. Children love her and she is very activity oriented so you can feel confident knowing your child is being stimulated in a developmentally appropriate way. My job didn't allow me to take my child to activities during the day so she took him to swim lessons, library baby group (pre-covid), and took him out of the house to the park rain or shine. Dana has tons of child care experience but also knows a ton about other things and helped us with little repairs or jobs around the house or coordinating handymen etc. She is extremely reliable and I can highly recommend her for taking care of your child.

I contacted Dana about a childcare position. She responded quickly and was very honest about her availability, which I appreciated. 

Dana put all of us - adults, kids, and dogs - at ease right away. She is friendly, resourceful, professional, easy-going, and willing to help out with just about anything. We are so grateful to be working with her!

I contacted Dana about my job posting. She stated she wasn't interested in taking on that few of hours, but she would like to be kept as a backup babysitter. So we set a time and date for an interview. She text messaged me and canceled the day before the interview, stating she was sick. I messaged back for her to contact me when she felt better. She said she would. I never heard from her again! I have never talked to her over the phone. Only messages and text messages. I find it suspicious. Beware. 

Dana is Fabulous!!! We cannot rave enough about her. She is currently our Nanny. With shared parenting situations as our reality it has created behavioral challenges and she is beyond a champ!!! She has built a wonderful summer curriculum for our son and been integral at mixing academics, activities, and keeping him in social activities (and everyone safe) with ODD behavior. True Rock star!!! All her Special needs experience serves her well with all challenging situations. She also loves our Zoo and we truly couldn't be more blessed by her. 

Dana is a wonderful all around caregiver. Dependable , bright and adapts easily to all needs and instructions.
Our pets loved her from day one and are excited to see her whenever she comes.

Dana watched our disabled 19 year old daughter while we vacationed in Kona Dec 2016. She was punctual, very interested in our daughters well being and was very understanding when we did not get back on time. Would use her again.
