I have always had a passion for working with children. I started 5 years ago as a ski instructor, and 3 years ago, I began babysitting. I have references across the Tahoe area that can attest to my experience. My babysitting roles have only deepened my love for caring for little ones. With three years of experience, I aim to create a calm, patient, and respectful environment where children feel safe. I prioritize open communication with parents to keep them informed about their child's day and any concerns I may have. Engaging children in age-appropriate activities is something I truly enjoy, from board games and puzzles to educational activities that promote learning. Singing songs and dancing are also some favorite ways to entertain them. I'm fluent in Spanish. With some college education and a background in med school, I'm CPR and First Aid trained. During my time in med school, I completed a pediatrics course. I have my own car, am comfortable with pets, and am a non-smoker.

We are so grateful for Daniela and highly recommend her as a sitter. We were visiting Lake Tahoe from out of state and wanted to go on a kayaking tour without our 3 year old. We reached out to her and she was very responsive. We had to leave early in the morning to get to our tour on time, and she arrived exactly when we asked her to. She had great questions about our child; her experience with 3 year olds put my mind to ease. Once we were gone, she was great about sending me photos of them playing and doing activities together. I really appreciated how communicative she was. Our child had a great time playing with her and didn’t want her to leave! Thank you to Daniela for all her hard work. We would definitely love to work with her again in the future!
