I am recently retired after 26 years in Emergency Management, a career that taught me calm in crisis, empathy in difficult moments, and the importance of showing up when people need support most. Now, I am looking for work that is good for my soul--supporting individuals & families in a meaningful way. I am kind, compassionate, dependable, & present. Happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, or simply providing companionship. Just as importantly, I understand the emotional weight families carry, I believe that caregivers' mental health is just as important as that of their loved ones. Sometimes, what's needed most is the gift of time--to rest, recharge, or take a much-needed breather knowing your loved one is in caring hands. Caring for my father through his journey with dementia, I learned firsthand that caregiving is never a one-person job, it takes an army.
