About Darren

I worked in a Senior Living Facility & worked in the Dining Room as the Lead Server - I worked closely with the MedTechs and Care Staff & was a CareTaker in the dining room, during activities, & within the residential community helping in rooms. I have been natural caregiver for more than half of my life, as I've been involved in regular care for my nephew with spastic quadriplegia for 14 years. Additionally, I have helped care for my father for over 7 years, who suffered from a severe stroke in 2011. Their journeys have taught me a lot about the ongoing need for a companion who can support & encourage people with various needs physically & emotionally, and to just be a simple friend. I have also been involved in caring for my 91 grandfather in recent years, driving him to events & accompanying him for meals. I recently helped my brother-in-law recover from major surgery.
