About Dawn

I have worked for over 20 years as a licensed daycare owner and provider. I ran a successful in-home daycare in Hagerstown, MD, where I taught children ages 0 to 5 years old. Additionally, I offered an after-school program that included homework help for children. I participated in a food program and provided healthy meals and snacks to the children throughout the day. They always had access to filtered water. I am CPR certified and trained in SIDS prevention for infants. I also have first aid training. I am dedicated to ensuring that all children are educated and school-ready. Many of the children I cared for started school early because they were reading by the age of 3. My daycare was diverse, and we explored various cultures through our learning activities.

Ms. Dawn was wonderful to work with. She did a great job with watching my 1 year old son. She came early to meet us and I felt that my son was in very good hands. She made sure to follow his routine and read him a book before he went to sleep. Ms. Dawn is very knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable. I will use her again in the future if I am in need of a sitter.
