About Deanna

For over 25 years, I've been helping students to learn and grow . As a certified teacher with experience in grades kindergarten through 8, I'm equipped to support learners from preschool through middle school, and for high school and college, in some subjects. I adapt my teaching to suit each student's unique needs, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions to make learning engaging. I believe communication is key to building trust and collaboration between student, parent, and tutor. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating successes, and providing positive reinforcement are some of the ways I keep students motivated. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence blossom as they grasp new concepts and skills. I look forward to meeting your student!
