About Deanna

I've loved animals all my life. Living in apartments most of my life, I've felt deprived of dogs! But I have had a hamster, and now my cat, that I've had since kitty hood (he's now 9 years). My most extensive pet care experience came from my time in Spain. I lived with a family that boasted one indoor/outdoor cat and dog as well as eight chickens (not to mention about six cats that sometimes lived with the chickens). While the family was away I solely cared for the animals. Each day I fed, watered and entertained the cat and dog, took the dog on daily walks (he had a lot of free space around the house, only one walk per day was needed). I also fed, watered and collected the eggs of the chickens. I had a blast.
