About Deanna

As a former Montessori teacher, artist, and nonprofit leader, I bring patience, creativity, and care to everything I do--including working with animals. I've always believed that pets, like children, thrive with structure, affection, and understanding. At home, I have a medium-sized Labrador-Boxer mix who's full of energy and personality, so I'm very familiar with the needs of active dogs who require plenty of exercise, engagement, and consistency. Whether it's long walks, playtime, or gentle training reinforcement, I approach pet care with mindfulness and love. My background in caregiving and observation helps me quickly tune into an animal's temperament and needs, including those with anxiety or special requirements. Families can trust that I'll treat their pets with the same attentiveness and compassion I give my own--keeping them safe, happy, and well-loved while maintaining routines that help them feel secure.
