Hello, my name is Deanna and I'm a current elementary special education teacher. I graduated with a bachelors in elementary special education from Central Michigan University in 2018 with Summa Cum Laude honors. For the past two years I have worked with students with Autism, this year I will be teaching general education. I also have plenty experience outside of the classroom as I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I have experience with caring for multiple children at a time and ranging all ages (from infants to adults with special needs). I truly enjoy working with children and creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Deanna worked with my rising second grade twins on their reading skills. They both have very different attitudes and approaches, she adjusted her style to get the most out of each of them. And she has made great progress with them. They are very reluctant readers and perhaps the best review I can give is one day when I asked them how their learning went that day my little girl said "Learning, we aren't learning, we are just having fun and reading". I highly recommend her!
