Hello, My name is Debbie. For the last 9 years I was taking care of both my parents. My mom was a total care patient with dementia after her hemmoraghic stroke. She was unable to walk/bathe herself, incontinent, & needed a hoyer lift for transfer. Mom also needed her medicine crushed, drinks thickened/food pureed. My dad had early stages of dementia. I would love to speak with you more in depth, and find out exactly what kind of care you need. I am ready to bring some love and joy into another person(s) world. I have my BA in social work from Providence College, and also the following certifications: Medical Tech, CPR/First Aid & Blood-borne Pathogens. I have been an unofficial CNA/nurse for the last 9 yrs & am currently enrolled in a CNA course. Any pets that's a plus. I love animals! Thank you, Deborah

Debbie took care of my mother who had a stroke. She was excellent with tending to her physical needs, but even more importantly, Debbie has a big heart and a great way of connecting with people. It was very clear that she genuinely cared for my mother. Debbie would sing many of her favorite songs and had a great way of making her laugh. Debbie was more than a caregiver to our family. She was like family herself.
