I have over 14 years of caregiving experience including caring for my mother with Dementia for over five years. I have experienced caregiving from multiple perspectives - both as a professional caregiver and as a family member who relied on caregivers for my own mother. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the trust families place in caregivers and the importance of empathy, patience, and consistency. I firmly believe that while many people can perform caregiving tasks, truly exceptional care requires compassion, emotional awareness, and a genuine connection.
