About Debra

Hi, my name is Debra, but please feel free to call me Jade. I currently work as a preschool teacher at a daycare, where I care for 15 children on my own during the day. I have many years of experience with children; I'm the oldest of five siblings, with a 16-year age gap between my youngest sister and me. I've been babysitting since I was about 10 years old. I also have two daughters, aged 7 and 4. During the summer, they stay in Arizona with my mom, so I'm looking to earn some extra cash while they're away. I am currently attending MCC to earn my associate degree in Early Childhood Education. I am in my final year at MCC and hold two certificates of completion: one in Child Development - Preschool Level 1 (August 2024) and another in Adaptive Teaching for Young Learners (May 2025). I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. My ultimate goal is to become a Kindergarten or Preschool teacher at an Independent School District (ISD). I can't wait to work with you and your family!
