About Debra

I have three daughters who I homeschooled for over 10 years, and I have never regretted the sacrifices I made to do that. All three excelled in school and were socially more adjusted than most. One of the greatest joys I experienced was teaching my three daughters to read. I also taught other children I cared for to read. I myself, was an honor student in high school, college in the field of law enforcement and in a drafting trade school. At 47 years old I attended Porter & Chester Institute and maintained a straight A average in the field of medical assistant. I became a Certified Medical Assistant and worked in the field of Dermatology and absolutely loved it! I have found with the children that I have cared for that the opportunity to teach exists continuously throughout our time together.
