About Deirdre

Hello, My name is Deirdre. All my working life I've been with non-profit endeavors, or hands-on as a licensed massage therapist. I am beginning to shift towards more flexible work situations. I have one year experience helping with Alzheimers, and have some experience through bodywork assisting people with cancer, or aiding quality of life at end of life. I am glad to help with errands and transportation, or taking in some fresh air at a nearby park. I also am ok to take on the occasional deep cleaning or home maintenance task, as I know this can become overly challenging for some elders. I'm a native of W. MI, though lived in the Pacific NW most of the last 20 years. Now I've recently relocated to Kalamazoo, and am enjoying getting to know the town's offerings--great biketrails, libraries, beautiful architecture, and a nice compact size. In my free time I enjoy building and making things, swimming, and gardening. I am more than happy to discuss any needs or questions!
