About Deise

I am a calm, caring, and responsible person with both academic and practical experience in supporting people's well-being. I studied Psychology in Brazil, with my degree officially recognized in the United States, and I also completed part of a Master's program in the field. For about four years, I worked closely with an elderly couple in the Greater Boston area (Brookline). The wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and I supported her throughout different stages of her condition. At first, I helped with daily routines such as preparing breakfast and going to the market. As the disease progressed, I provided more direct care, including assisting with bathing, accompanying her to medical appointments, doing the grocery shopping, taking her for walks on sunny days, watching movies together, and offering emotional support. Over time, I became part of the family, sharing not only responsibilities but also moments of connection and care.
