I began housesitting and dog walking several years ago after I closed my little Montessori preschool in Westerly to be more flexible and available for my teenagers. I have spent time with and gotten to know lots of lovely little creatures for walks or for week-long stays while their people are away. I grew up on a farm and was always surrounded by animals as a child and now I have a wonderful6-year-old golden doodle myself. We got her a kitten last year, but both my teenagers swear it's still not enough. I love having jobs where I can take my Ginger baby along with me for socialization, training, leash walks and trips to the dog park at Ninigret or for house and pet sitting.
