With four years of experience as an elementary teacher and reading interventionist, I am dedicated to fostering academic success through evidence-based methods. My expertise lies in reading instruction grounded in the science of reading, as well as elementary math and study skills. Working extensively with students with disabilities, including dyslexia, ADHD, and autism, has equipped me with the patience and adaptability to create tailored strategies for diverse learners. I emphasize meeting students where they are in their reading journey, integrating their interests - like dinosaur books, sports passages, or graphic novels- to keep them engaged. My goal is to enhance reading skills through proven techniques while creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where students feel safe to take risks, celebrate their achievements, and develop a lasting love for reading that benefits them throughout their education and beyond.
