Hey there! As an experienced ELA high school teacher with a master's degree, I can help your student improve their reading, writing, comprehension, and presentation skills. I offer engaging, low-stakes sessions designed to build confidence and nurture individual talents. I'm a relatable, engaging, and flexible tutor. I've found nothing is more rewarding than watching a student's confidence grow. Each student is gifted in their own way, and I believe my job is to nurture those gifts and show students how to use their unique strengths to succeed. In my spare time, I enjoy playing football, basketball, and video games with my own children. I also write scripts and practice improv acting. Your child's success is a top priority for me. I understand the importance of a great teacher because a few have made a significant impact on my own life. My teaching skills include creativity, engagement, patience, understanding, and scaffolding.
