About Destiny

I'd describe my personality as patient, always thinking of others and calm. I like tutoring because helping others has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy learning new things, and relearning if need be! I'm looking for a job that can be flexible with times needed. Working with individuals who find joy in doing goo, honest work. Something that I can feel pride and accomplishment for. I started tutoring when I was in college. I tutored college students in subjects that I was comfortable with teaching, or learning more about. After graduation and becoming a school teacher, I also assisted 4th/5th graders with math. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, bake, dig in the garden or play with my pets. One thing you should know about me is I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Four years of experience. Experience with differentiated instruction, IEP's, 504's and I have a willingness to research and learn whatever necessary for your child's success.
