Hello! I am very patient, caring, and flexible. I have worked with children that range from the ages of 0 (i. e. newborns) to 12+ years. I have 8 siblings, so I naturally have lots of experience helping to raise and take care of my siblings all of my life. My paid experience includes teaching in 5 different preschools, coaching as a child development soccer coach, lead teaching and directing for the YMCA of Torrance after school program for grades TK-5, substitute teaching for all grade levels, and of course nannied for multiple families. I am very safety-conscious and am naturally nurturing and caring. I have my own reliable car, a clean driving record, am CPR and first aid certified, am COVID-vaccinated, and will do meal prep/light housekeeping. I look forward to meeting your children and scaffolding them to encourage growth!

Destiny started working with our family when our daughter was about 10 months old, and took care of our little one for almost 2 years. She quickly adapted to our family and was absolutely wonderful with our daughter. She wasn’t just a nanny, she really became a special part of our family. Destiny has a naturally calm, patient, and nurturing presence. She’s so smart and loving- all qualities that I looked for in a caretaker. She supported all our parenting decisions particularly while we sleep trained, and any time our little one ever got sick. She always went above and beyond our needs, and was super creative and energetic with our rambunctious toddler. As a new mom, I always felt secure knowing that Destiny was with our daughter- always keeping us informed in how she was doing throughout the day. I will truly miss Destiny! Any family would be so lucky to have her. We’re so grateful for our time with her.
