About Devon

We are so lucky to have Devon caring for our son! He's been with her since he was 9 months old and is now just over 2. He is always so excited to be dropped off at Devon's house to play with his friends (which include other children as well as cats and chickens!) She love and treats our kiddo like family and she and her kids have become family to us, too. Devon is incredibly knowledgeable about age-appropriate milestones and behaviors and tailors her approach to each child in her care based on their age and personality, while also adhering to consistent rules and boundaries. She changes up the toys in activities in her home frequently to keep the kids interested and occupied, giving them plenty of time for independent and group play. I love that she has a big vegetable garden and chickens! She's taught our son about different plants and he helps her pick from the garden and feed the chickens, teaching him responsibility and where our food comes from and engaging him in "helper" activities which have made him want to help even more when he's at home. I truly can't say enough about how grateful we are to have found Devon and have her caring for our son. She cares for us as parents, too, giving us advice when we ask and helping us through some difficult moments of being new parents.
